Vancouver Moving Rates

Unlike many other Vancouver moving companies that have a tendency to offer you a "fluid" rate schedule (in their favor of course), we can offer you firm quotes. That way there are no surprises and you can anticipate the final cost of the move before completion. Additionally, we offer moves based on an hourly rate. The rate for 2 men and the truck is $X (depending on numerous factors, please contact us for details) per hour, the time starts when the truck leaves the office to it's return, this is what is called "traveling time" and is an industry standard. Traveling time is usually between 30-60 minutes depending on your Vancouver or lower Mainland location in relation to our office. Average 1 bedroom apartment/condo takes 3-5 hours and 2 bedroom between 4-7 hours. Please call us or contact us for details.

Packing service is $65 per hour for 2 men + cost of packing supplies unless you provide your own. Please visit our packing supplies page for rates and available box sizes and packaging materials. Average box cost is approximately $1.50 per cubic meter.

Long distance rates are based on weight and in return weight is based on cubic meters. Obviously, density plays a part in the equations since a cubic foot of marble weighs more than a cubic foot of feathers, however, with accurate calculations and our extensive experience we can estimate the total cost of the move with an approximate 10% accuracy rate. Final cost will be based on actual weight as measured on certified provincial and federal highway regulated scales.

Taxes on all service charges are 7% GST.

Packing supplies are taxed 7% GST plus the additional 7% PST.
